New blog (kind of)

Well if you actually read this blog already, you probably know that I got the internship with IC! This post is just to let you know that I will be deleting all the old posts and turning this into my travel blog as soon as I leave! I'm so excited about this job (if you can call something where you work your butt off for free a "job"). It's better than a job because it is about more than benefiting myself.
I'm going to miss everyone so much, but it's going to be life-changing.

The Rescue

Soooo, this has been the craziest week of my life. I now know for sure that anything is possible. I now believe in humanity again. People CAN be good and we CAN make a difference. I feel blessed just to have been a part of this movement. Honestly, all of these videos are worth watching.

Honestly, I just think he was a smart man. As a Christian, I feel like he has taught me a lot about the relationship between faith and reason. However, I feel like most anything he wrote (outside of the Narnia books) would be a great read for anyone. I think he comes at religion from a pretty interesting perspective. Not that I take his word as truth or agree with every single thing he has to say, but I don't agree with EVERYTHING anyone says.

On a different note: all I really want to do is sing background harmonies for the rest of my life. Why is that so much to ask?????????
